Volvo Amazon Part 2

Volvo Amazon

This Volvo Amazon is a is a 3-door, 4-seater sedan model. There were 3 models of the Amazon; the first one is this three-door sedan, the second one was a five-door sedan and the last was a classic station wagon. The Volvo Amazon was first shown in April 1956 at the New York International Auto Show. The thing that stood out with this car was that it was the first ever car to have standard seat belts in the front two seats. Production was stopped in 1970 when cars were becoming a bit more classy and technical, but unfortunately Volvo wasn't very good at that and started producing big, ugly, boring cars like the 850 R. But a few years ago Volvo made a miraculous come-back by making much better cars like the V60 and the V40. This car was a forgotten treasure that is still to be found; and even though it is an old and tired car, it still has its charm!
